Why Give?
Tithing is when a Christian offers the first 10% of their income. At LifeTree Community Church, we believe in offering our resources to further the Kingdom of God. We tithe because we recognize that what we have belongs to God and that tithing is an act of giving back a portion of what He has blessed us with.
Tithing teaches us obedience, selflessness, prosperity, and stewardship. We are called to give cheerfully because everything that we have been blessed with was given to us by our Lord.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”
What happens with tithe funds?
We are called to give freely and with love. We should give to the Lord with no apprehension. For that reason, we provide an open-book policy. Our financial statements and budgets are available at any time to our members.
